A water services bylaw made under this Act can do several things. It can specify which offences under this Act are infringement offences, as defined in section 256. 269Bylaw may provide for infringement offences

  1. A water services bylaw made under this Act may—

  2. specify the offences under this Act that are infringement offences (which must be an offence against a section listed in paragraph (b) of the definition of infringement offence in section 256):
    1. prescribe infringement fees for those offences, not exceeding—
      1. $1,000 for an individual; or
        1. $3,000 for a body corporate:
        2. prescribe the form of infringement notices for infringement offences:
          1. prescribe matters to be included in infringement notices:
            1. prescribe the form of a reminder notice.
