If you are a water service provider responsible for managing a stormwater network, you must develop a stormwater network risk management plan for your service area. You need to follow the rules set out in sections 203 and 204 when creating your plan. You have to adopt the plan within 3 years after this law starts and then implement it as stated in the plan.

If you manage more than one stormwater network, you can choose to develop, adopt, and implement a separate plan for each network. Alternatively, you can create a combined plan that covers some or all of your networks.

You must implement your plan according to its terms, whether you have one plan or multiple plans for your stormwater networks.

201Stormwater network risk management plan

  1. A water service provider that is responsible for managing a stormwater network in its service area must—

  2. develop a stormwater network risk management plan for the provider’s service area in accordance with sections 203 and 204; and
    1. adopt the plan within 3 years after the commencement of this section; and
      1. implement the plan in accordance with its terms.

        1. A provider that is responsible for managing more than 1 stormwater network may develop, adopt, and implement—

        2. a separate plan for each network; or
          1. a combined plan for some or all networks.
