When you ask for a review of a decision, the reviewer has to look at it and make a decision within 20 working days. This starts after the owner of the land has had 10 working days to respond to the water service provider's notice under section 162. The reviewer can ask the water service provider and the owner of the land for more information to help them make a decision.

The water service provider or the owner of the land must give the reviewer the information they ask for within a certain time, which is at least 5 working days. The reviewer might decide to have a meeting with the water service provider and the owner of the land to discuss the matter.

If the reviewer decides to have a meeting, they must tell the water service provider and the owner of the land when and where the meeting will be, and give them reasonable notice.
