207Emissions monitoring plan
An eligible New Zealand operator must develop, implement, and maintain an emissions monitoring plan for monitoring and recording fuel used in attributed flights.
An emissions monitoring plan must be approved under subsection (6) before it is implemented.
No material change to an emissions monitoring plan may be implemented unless it is approved under subsection (6).
A draft plan, or a proposed amendment to a plan, must be submitted to the Secretary in accordance with any prescribed requirements.
The Secretary may require the operator to provide, and the operator must provide, within the time the Secretary specifies, further documents or information in relation to the plan, or proposed amendment to a plan, that the Secretary considers necessary to make a decision under subsection (6).
The Secretary must approve an emissions monitoring plan, or an amendment to a plan, if the Secretary is satisfied that the plan complies, or as proposed to be amended will comply, with the requirements of the regulations.
