Civil Aviation Act 2023

Airports - Airport operators

223: Area covered by registration may be varied

You could also call this:

"Change the area your airport operates in"

If you are an airport operator, you can ask the Secretary to change the area covered by your registration. You do this by applying under section 222. The Secretary will then look at your application. The Secretary must change the area if they are satisfied that they have talked to the people who will be affected, that the change fits with the main goals of the Civil Aviation Act 2023, and that the airport operator will still do what they are supposed to do. The Secretary will then send you a written notice that says what the new area is that is covered by your registration.
