Civil Aviation Act 2023

Aviation documents, medical certification, and drug and alcohol testing - Requirements for aviation documents

76: Director may take into account foreign qualifications and certifications

You could also call this:

"The Director can accept qualifications and certifications from other countries when you apply for an aviation document."

When you apply for an aviation document, the Director can consider qualifications you got from another country. The Director can also recognise certifications from another country if they think it is appropriate for your case. This is allowed under the rules, and the Director makes the decision for each person. You can find more information about this by looking at the relevant legislation.
