Civil Aviation Act 2023

Airports - Airport operators

237: Publication and proof of bylaws

You could also call this:

"How airports make and share their rules with the public"

When an airport operator makes a new bylaw, they must tell the public about it as soon as they can. They have to say when the bylaw starts and that you can get a copy of it from their office if you pay a certain amount. You can get a copy of the bylaw from the airport operator's office or from their website. The airport operator must keep copies of all their bylaws and make them available for you to see at any reasonable time.

If someone shows you a document that says it has a copy of a bylaw in it, and the airport operator says it is genuine, then it is proof of the bylaw until someone proves it is not. The airport operator must give you a copy of any bylaw if you ask for it and pay a reasonable charge. You can look at the bylaws at the airport operator's office or on their website at any reasonable time.
