Civil Aviation Act 2023

International aviation - International air services licensing - Miscellaneous provisions

190: Additional requirements of regulations and rules

You could also call this:

"Rules for flying in New Zealand that everyone must follow"

If you are flying an aircraft, it must follow the rules made under this Act. You cannot ignore these rules just because you are flying internationally on a schedule. This also applies if you are flying internationally but not on a schedule.

The rules apply to all aircraft, no matter what type of flight you are on, and you can find more information about similar rules in the 1986 Act. You must follow the regulations and rules when flying. This is an important part of flying safely in New Zealand.
