73Application for aviation document
An application for the grant or renewal of an aviation document must be made to the Director and be in accordance with the requirements of the rules.
The applicant must include in the application the applicant’s address for service in New Zealand and any other contact details required by the Director.
The holder of an aviation document must promptly notify the Director of any changes to the address for service, the contact details required by the Director under subsection (2), or any other relevant new contact details.
Service of any notice under this Act on a holder of, or an applicant for, an aviation document is effective service if served on the address last provided by that holder or applicant under this section.
