461: Further provisions regarding delegation of Director’s functions or powers to employees of CAA

You could also call this:

"How the Director of the Civil Aviation Authority can give their jobs to employees"

When the Director of the Civil Aviation Authority delegates some of their functions or powers to employees, it can be done in a few ways. You can delegate to a specific employee, or to a group of employees with similar roles. The Director can also delegate to someone who holds a particular office, or to a group of people who hold offices with similar responsibilities.

If the Director delegates some of their functions or powers, that delegation remains in place until it is revoked, even if the Director is no longer in their role. This means that the delegation continues to be valid, regardless of who is the Director.

For the purposes of delegating functions or powers, certain sections of the Crown Entities Act 2004, such as sections 73(4) and sections 74 to 76, apply as if they were referring to the Director instead of the board, with any necessary changes.
