Illustration for Civil Aviation Act 2023

If someone breaks an airport rule, you need to know what happens. The rules are made under section 407(1)(d) and section 235. The airport can choose someone to give out notices if you break the rules.

The person in charge of the airport can pick someone to help enforce the rules. This means they can give out notices when someone breaks the rules. The rules apply to the airport and the people they choose to help.

When the rules talk about the Director or the enforcement authority, they are really talking about the airport and the people they pick to help. You can read more about this in section 407(1)(d) and section 235. The airport follows these rules to enforce the laws.
