When the Director gets a notice from CASA that a company with a New Zealand AOC and ANZA privileges has been given a temporary stop notice in Australia, the Director must look at why this happened. The Director then decides what to do next, following the ANZA mutual recognition agreements, and this might include suspending or revoking the company's New Zealand AOC with ANZA privileges under section 96 or 97, or 98. The Director might also impose conditions on the company's AOC or take other action.

The Director has to make this decision as soon as possible and must tell CASA what they decide to do and any action they take.

The Director's decision can include suspending the company's AOC in whole or in part under section 96 or 97, or revoking it under section 98, or imposing conditions under section 96, 97, or 98.
