Civil Aviation Act 2023

Aviation documents, medical certification, and drug and alcohol testing - Drug and alcohol management plans and testing

118: Tampering

You could also call this:

"Changing or cheating on a drug or alcohol test is not allowed"

Illustration for Civil Aviation Act 2023

If you are being tested for drugs or alcohol, and the person doing the test thinks you might have cheated, this section applies to you. You might have cheated by taking something to change the test result, or by doing something to the test itself. If this happens, the rules say the test result is not considered negative, even if it actually is.
