The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has employees who can do certain jobs in New Zealand. These jobs are related to Australian Air Operator's Certificates (AOCs) with Australia New Zealand Aviation (ANZA) privileges. You can find more information about similar laws by looking at the Civil Aviation Act 1988 (Aust), but the CAA employees must follow any directions from the Director of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) when doing these jobs.
