Civil Aviation Act 2023

Functions, powers, and duties of participants in civil aviation system - Regulatory roles - CAA

27: CAA must adopt and publish regulatory strategy

You could also call this:

"Civil Aviation Authority must create and share a plan for their work"

The CAA has to create a plan that explains how they will do their job. You can think of the CAA as the people in charge of making sure everyone follows the rules of flying in New Zealand. Their plan must cover how they will work under laws related to civil aviation and other laws that give them important jobs.

The plan must include what the CAA thinks is important, what risks they want to focus on, and how they will make sure people follow the rules. It must also explain how the CAA will check if they are doing a good job and how they will update their plan. The CAA must make their plan available to the public, so you can see what they are doing.
