Civil Aviation Act 2023

Regulations and miscellaneous provisions - Consequential and other amendments, repeals, and revocations - Amendments to Airport Authorities Act 1966

470: Section 9 amended (Bylaws)

You could also call this:

"Changes to airport rules about traffic, parking, and bylaws"

The law about airports is changing. You will see some changes to the rules about bylaws. If you want to know more about what a road is, you can look at the Land Transport Act 1998. The rules now say that airports can make bylaws about traffic and parking, but not about roads. Airports can make rules about how people walk or drive around the airport and where they can park their vehicles.

Some other rules are also changing. If you want to know more about enforcement authorities, you can look at the Land Transport Act 1998. Even though some parts of the Land Transport Act 1998 have been repealed by the Civil Aviation Act 2023, they still apply to certain bylaws. This means that some old rules will still be used for certain bylaws, even though they are not part of the law anymore.
