You can apply for a new curator licence before your current one expires. If you do this, your current licence will keep going until you hear about your new application. You might get written confirmation that your current licence is extended. You can get a new licence if your application is approved. This new licence starts from the date your old one expires, or the date the new one is issued. The start date depends on when the new licence is issued. The person in charge can give you written proof that your licence is still valid. This is helpful if you need to show that your licence is extended.
