This page is about a bill. That means that it's not the law yet, but some people want it to be the law. It could change quickly, and some of the information is just a draft.

Illustration for Arms Bill

If you are an animal and biosecurity controller, this proposed law applies to you if you enter into a multi-user agreement with the chief executive. You must keep a record of where each restricted firearm and restricted magazine is, if they are shared between employees under the agreement. You must include the required details in this record. You will be breaking the law if you do not keep this record, unless you have a good reason for not doing so. If you break the law, you could be fined up to $10,000. The record must have the prescribed particulars. The prescribed particulars are the details that you must include in the record. You must keep the record to show where the restricted firearms and magazines are. This is part of the proposed change to the law.
