Illustration for Arms Bill

If you are part of a pistol shooting club or run a pistol shooting range, an officer of the Arms Regulator might think you are not following the rules. They might think you are not following the conditions of your certificate of approval or the conditions of your certification. They might also think you are breaking a rule in this proposed law or any regulations. If the officer thinks this, they can give you an improvement notice. This notice will tell you what you need to do to fix the problem. You will have to fix the problem or stop it from happening within a reasonable time frame that the officer will specify. You might need to fix something you have done wrong or stop something wrong from happening. The officer will give you a chance to make things right. You will get a notice that explains what you need to do and when you need to do it by.
