If you have a business licence, you must make sure your employees follow some rules. You must ensure they have a firearms licence, get the right training, and are competent to handle arms items and ammunition. You must also tell the chief executive when you hire or stop employing someone who handles these items. If you are a business owner, you could be fined up to $10,000 if you break these rules without a good reason. This also applies to the senior manager of a company with a business licence. They could be fined if the company breaks the rules without a good reason. You must notify the chief executive as soon as possible when you hire or stop employing someone who handles arms items and ammunition. This is part of the conditions of having a business licence, and it is important to follow these rules.
