This page is about a bill. That means that it's not the law yet, but some people want it to be the law. It could change quickly, and some of the information is just a draft.

If you are applying for a business licence or already have one, this section applies to you. You can apply for an endorsement on your business licence to possess certain arms items. This endorsement would allow you or your business to have these items for business purposes. You can apply for this endorsement as the owner of the business or as a senior manager of the business. The endorsement is for having certain arms items, such as pistols or restricted weapons, for your business. These items are called specified arms items. Specified arms items include pistols, large-capacity pistol magazines, restricted weapons, restricted firearms, and restricted magazines. You would need this endorsement to legally possess these items for your business. This is part of a proposed change to the law, which is part of the Arms Bill.
