71Certain information to be provided to applicant if licence application not granted

  1. If the chief executive decides not to issue a firearms licence to an applicant, the chief executive must—

  2. inform the applicant of—
    1. their decision; and
      1. the reasons for their decision (except to the extent that section 72 applies):
      2. inform the applicant of the right to apply under section 79 for a review of the decision not to issue a firearms licence to them.
