19Defence to prosecution for offence under section 18

  1. It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence under section 18 if the defendant proves—

  2. that the airgun was in their possession for use under the immediate supervision of—
    1. a person of or over the age of 18; or
      1. a person who holds a firearms licence; and
      2. that at all times while they were in possession of the airgun, they were under the immediate supervision of—
        1. a person of or over the age of 18; or
          1. a person who holds a firearms licence.
