Illustration for Arms Bill

If a business licence is suspended, you are not allowed to carry on any business activities as if you did not have a licence. You cannot work for the licensed business or help them with their activities. The business must follow certain rules during this time. When the licence is suspended, the business licence holder must give their licence to the chief executive if asked. They must also give all arms items and ammunition to an officer of the Arms Regulator. This must be done on request. If the business licence holder does not give the arms items and ammunition to the officer, a Police member may be asked to take them. This can happen if the business licence holder does not follow the rules. The Police can seize the arms items and ammunition.
