This page is about a bill. That means that it's not the law yet, but some people want it to be the law. It could change quickly, and some of the information is just a draft.

If a court makes a Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) against you, you must follow some standard conditions. You must not associate with people who have firearms or related items that are not stored securely. You must not live in a place where firearms or related items are stored. You are also not allowed to join or visit shooting clubs, attend shooting ranges, or go to events where firearms are used. You cannot visit places where firearms are made, sold, or repaired. If you live in a place for at least 2 days in a 12-month period, the law considers you to be residing there. These conditions are part of a proposed change to the law, which is currently being considered as part of the Arms Bill. You would need to follow these conditions if a court makes an FPO against you under the proposed new law. The proposed law aims to set out clear rules for people who are subject to an FPO.
