67Application for firearms licence

  1. A person may apply to the chief executive for a firearms licence if the person—

  2. is of or over the age of 16 years; and
    1. is not disqualified from holding a firearms licence; and
      1. is a fit and proper person to hold a firearms licence; and
        1. has not had a firearms licence revoked in the previous 5 years (or, if they have, the revocation was reversed by the Firearms Licensing Review Committee or District Court).
          1. An application for a firearms licence must be made to the chief executive in the prescribed manner and must—

          2. be in a form approved by the chief executive; and
            1. include the prescribed details (if any); and
              1. include the name and contact details of the applicant’s health practitioner; and
                1. be supported by any information and documents that are prescribed; and
                  1. be accompanied by the prescribed fee (if any).
