137Notification of removal of pistol, restricted firearm, restricted magazine, or restricted weapon out of New Zealand

  1. The holder of a firearms licence, business licence, or curator licence who intends to remove any pistol, restricted weapon, restricted firearm, or restricted magazine from New Zealand must—

  2. give not less than 4 days’ notice of the intended removal to the chief executive; and
    1. deliver to the chief executive their licence for the endorsement to be amended.
      1. A person commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000 if the person, without reasonable excuse, contravenes subsection (1).
