66Requirement for manufacture of certain arms items by firearms licence holders

  1. This section applies to a firearms licence holder who proposes to manufacture for personal use an arms item that is—

  2. a pistol:
    1. a restricted weapon:
      1. a pistol carbine conversion kit.
        1. The firearms licence holder must, before manufacturing the arms item, obtain a permit to possess the item.

        2. A firearms licence holder commits an offence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 7 years if the licence holder, without reasonable excuse, contravenes subsection (2).
