If you have a firearms licence and are going overseas, you might need a new licence. You can ask for your application to be dealt with quickly if you need a licence to take part in an international event. You will need to give the chief executive evidence of your travel plans and why you need a licence. You must apply for a new licence or endorsement before you go overseas. You can ask for your application to be given priority when you apply. Your request must be in a special form and you must pay a priority fee. The chief executive may ask you for more information to support your request. You must give them the information they need to process your application quickly. This will help you get your new licence or endorsement before you travel overseas.
