182Applications for endorsements: general

  1. An application for an endorsement may be made by a person who is—

  2. described in section 183 and applying for an endorsement permitting them to possess, in a particular capacity, 1 or more specified arms items; or
    1. described in section 184 and applying for an endorsement permitting them, or a licensed business that they are a senior manager of, to possess 1 or more specified arms items.
      1. An application for an endorsement on a firearms licence or business licence permitting the holder to possess a restricted firearm or restricted magazine may only be made by a person described in section 183 or 184 if the person is of or over the age of 18 years.

      2. In subsection (1), specified arms item means—

      3. a pistol:
        1. a large-capacity pistol magazine:
          1. a restricted weapon:
            1. a restricted firearm:
              1. a restricted magazine.
                1. An application for an endorsement must be made to the chief executive in the prescribed manner and must—

                2. be in a form approved by the chief executive; and
                  1. include the prescribed details (if any); and
                    1. be supported by any information and documents that are prescribed; and
                      1. be accompanied by the prescribed fee (if any).
