151Revocation of firearms licence

  1. A firearms licence is immediately revoked if the holder of the licence becomes disqualified under section 68 from holding a firearms licence.

  2. A firearms licence may be revoked by the chief executive if, in the opinion of the chief executive, the holder of the firearms licence is not a fit and proper person to hold a firearms licence.

  3. If a firearms licence is revoked under subsection (2), the chief executive must inform the licence holder of the right to apply under section 79 for a review of the decision to revoke their licence.
