195Issue of permit to import air pistol carbine conversion kits

  1. After receiving an application for the issue of a permit to import an air pistol carbine conversion kit, the chief executive may require the applicant to produce to the chief executive, for examination and testing, samples of any air pistol carbine conversion kit of the kind referred to in the application that the chief executive considers necessary.

  2. The chief executive may grant an application for the issue of a permit to import an air pistol carbine conversion kit only if the chief executive is satisfied that the application is made by an applicant who intends to personally use the kit as a member of an airsoft or a paintball club that is affiliated with a national airsoft or paintball organisation.
