Illustration for Arms Bill

If you are an employee of an animal and biosecurity controller, you might not have to follow a certain rule about restricted firearms. You must be part of a multi-user agreement and share restricted firearms with other employees in the agreement. You can only have the restricted firearm for 7 days or less. You have to meet these conditions to not follow the rule in Section 31(1)(b). This means you can share restricted firearms with your colleagues without breaking the law. You must follow the conditions to be allowed to do this. If you are an employee in this situation, the rule does not apply to you. You can possess a restricted firearm for a short time. You must be part of a multi-user agreement to do this.
