165Offence to fail to surrender licence when licence revoked

  1. A person whose firearms licence is revoked commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a term of imprisonment not exceeding 2 years, or to a fine not exceeding $20,000, if the person, without reasonable excuse, fails to surrender their licence in accordance with section 157(1).

  2. An individual or a senior manager of a body corporate whose business licence is revoked commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a term of imprisonment not exceeding 1 year, or to a fine not exceeding $15,000, if the individual or the body corporate, without reasonable excuse, fails to surrender their licence in accordance with section 158(1)(a).

  3. A licensed curator whose licence is revoked commits an offence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 1 year, or to a fine not exceeding $15,000, if the curator, without reasonable excuse, fails to surrender their licence in accordance with section 159(1)(a).
