You can have a large-capacity pistol magazine if you have a firearms licence or visitor licence that says you can. This licence must have a special note on it that lets you possess a large-capacity pistol magazine. You must follow all the rules in the Act. You might not be able to have a large-capacity pistol magazine if another part of the Act says you cannot. If you break this rule without a good reason, you can get in trouble. You could even go to prison for up to 3 years if you are found guilty. You need to make sure you have the right licence and follow all the rules to possess a large-capacity pistol magazine. The rules are in place to keep everyone safe. You should know what the rules are to avoid getting in trouble.
