If you want to run a temporary non-pistol shooting range, you can do this if you are a shooting club, a member of a shooting club, or an operator of a certified pistol shooting range under section 229, or an enrolled non-pistol shooting range under section 239. You must tell the chief executive about your temporary non-pistol shooting range. If you do not tell the chief executive and you do not have a good reason, you can be fined up to $10,000.
