If you get a visitor licence, it might be for one visit to New Zealand or for two or more visits. You can use the licence until it expires. The expiry date depends on the type of licence you have.   1. A visitor licence may be issued to the person for—

  2. 1 visit to New Zealand; or
    1. 2 or more visits to New Zealand.
      1. A licence issued under subsection (1)(a) is subject to the condition that it expires on the earlier of the following:

        1. the date on which the person leaves New Zealand.
