30A: National multiple-use approval establishes compliance with building code
or “A special approval shows that building plans follow the rules, but you still need permission to build.”

You could also call this:

“To get approval for using the same building design many times, you need to send a special form with all the right information to the building boss.”

To apply for a national multiple-use approval, you need to follow these steps:

You must write your application and give it to the chief executive. You should use the form they tell you to use, if there is one. You need to include any information they ask for.

You also need to include plans and specifications. The rules will tell you what plans you need, or the chief executive will tell you if there aren’t any rules about it.

If your building work needs a compliance schedule, you must give a list of all the specified systems for the building.

You might need to give other information too, if the chief executive asks for it.

If you want to change a national multiple-use approval that you already have, you need to apply in the same way as if you were applying for a new one. The same rules apply, but they might be changed a bit to fit with what you’re trying to do.
