The Governor-General can make rules about how licensed building practitioners should behave. These rules are called a code of ethics. The Governor-General does this by making an Order in Council after the Minister recommends it. There might be different codes for different types of building practitioners.

314ACode of ethics for licensed building practitioners

  1. The Governor-General may, by Order in Council made on the recommendation of the Minister, prescribe a code or codes of minimum standards of ethical conduct for licensed building practitioners or classes of licensed building practitioners.
