267: Product certification accreditation body must notify chief executive of grant, suspension, lifting of suspension, or revocation of accreditation
or “The accreditation body must tell the boss when someone gets, loses, or regains permission to certify products.”

You could also call this:

“The boss can sign up special companies to check and approve building products if they meet certain rules.”

You can apply to the chief executive to become a registered product certification body. To do this, you need to pay a fee if there is one. The chief executive can register you if you meet certain conditions. You must be an accredited PCB, have enough money to cover any legal problems that might happen when you do your job, and meet any other rules for registration.

When you apply, you need to do it in writing. You might have to follow specific instructions on how to apply and include certain information. These details will be provided to you.

After you submit your application, the chief executive will decide whether to register you or not. They will let you know their decision in writing. If they decide not to register you, they will explain why.
