Building Act 2004

Building - Building code - Acceptable solution or verification method

25A: Acceptable solutions and verification methods to be available on Ministry's Internet site

You could also call this:

“The government must put building rules on their website for everyone to see and keep them up to date.”

You need to know about how the chief executive makes acceptable solutions and verification methods available online. The chief executive must put new acceptable solutions or verification methods on the Ministry’s website quickly after they are issued. Even if an acceptable solution or verification method is changed or removed, you can still find the original version on the website. When an acceptable solution or verification method is changed, the chief executive must quickly put three things on the website: the change itself, the full updated version, and the original version. This way, you can always find the most recent information as well as past versions.
