102A: Procedure for obtaining compliance schedule where building consent not required
or “How to get a compliance schedule for your building when you don't need a building consent”

You could also call this:

“This explains what must be included in a list of building safety checks.”

A compliance schedule is a document that you need for certain building systems. It must include several important details about these systems:

You have to list and describe each system that the schedule covers. This includes stating what type of system it is and, if you know, the brand or make of the system.

You also need to write down the performance standards for each system. This means explaining how well the system should work.

The schedule must describe how to inspect and maintain the systems. It should also explain how to report on them. These procedures are meant to make sure the systems can perform to the standards you set. Qualified people or other appropriate individuals will follow these procedures.

You can include the inspection, maintenance, and reporting procedures in two ways:

You can describe them directly in the compliance schedule. Or, you can refer to other documents that explain these procedures. These might be solutions or methods that the government has approved, or information about specific building products or methods.
