297: Effect of licensing suspension
or “When someone's building licence is suspended, they can't work as a builder until the suspension ends.”

You could also call this:

“A list of people allowed to build things that the government keeps track of”

The Registrar has to create and keep a register of licensed building practitioners. This register must follow the rules set out in this Act and the regulations.

The Registrar needs to put certain information in the register. This includes the name of every licensed building practitioner. It also includes other information about each person, as listed in section 301, if that information applies to them.

The Registrar might need to add other information to the register too. This could be because it’s required, allowed, or instructed by this part of the Act or by the regulations.
