357: Revision of rules
or “How to fix and resubmit rules that weren't approved”

You could also call this:

“The group in charge can agree to new rules or change them if needed, but they must talk to the boss first.”

When the Board gets a revised proposed rule, they need to act quickly. They can do one of two things:

  1. They can approve the rule by sending a written notice to the chief executive.

  2. If they think the rule needs more changes, they can make those changes themselves. After making the changes, they will approve the rule and send a written notice to the chief executive. They will also include a copy of the approved rule with the notice.

Before the Board makes any changes to a rule, they must do three things:

  1. They need to tell the chief executive that they plan to make changes.

  2. They need to give the chief executive enough time to share their thoughts on the changes.

  3. They need to think carefully about what the chief executive said before making their decision.

This process helps make sure that rules are carefully reviewed and improved before they are approved.
