300: Form of register
or “The register can be kept in different ways and is usually available, but sometimes access might be limited.”

You could also call this:

“The register lists important details about licensed building workers, like their name, contact info, and work history.”

The register for licensed building practitioners must have lots of important information about each person. This includes their full name, any other names they use, when they were born, and where to send them messages about this law. It also needs to have where they live, any company they work for or own, their email and website, phone and fax numbers, and any special number the Registrar gives them.

The register also has to show what type of license the person has, when they got it, and if they’ve been in trouble in the last three years. If someone’s license was stopped in the last three years, the register has to say why, for how long, and what they need to do to get it back.

The Registrar can add any other information they think is important to have in the register. All of this helps keep track of who is allowed to do building work and makes sure they’re following the rules.

If you want to know more about what happens when a builder gets in trouble, you can look at section 318 of this law.
