371C: Conditions of authorisation

You could also call this:

“Rules about carrying and showing special papers for people who give out fines”

If you’re an enforcement officer allowed to give out infringement notices, you need to follow some rules. When you’re doing your job, you must carry two things with you: a special warrant and something that proves who you are. If someone asks to see these, you have to show them.

The warrant is a document that says you’re allowed to do your job. You get this warrant from your boss. When you stop being an enforcement officer, you have to give the warrant back to your boss.

Remember, these rules are there to make sure you’re doing your job properly and that people can trust that you’re really an enforcement officer.
