246: Regional authorities may agree on terms of transfer
or “Regional groups can talk and decide how to switch their jobs and responsibilities to each other.”

You could also call this:

“When a job is given to a different group, they can do it as if it was always their job, but they can also change their mind about doing it.”

If a function, duty, or power is transferred to you as a regional authority under section 244, you can carry out that function or duty, or use that power, just as if it was given to you under this Act. You can also cancel the transfer at any time, unless the agreement says you can’t.

If you’re the regional authority that transferred a function, duty, or power to another authority, you can change or cancel the transfer whenever you want. You just need to let the other authority know in writing.
