Building Act 2004

Regulation of building practitioners - Licensing and disciplining of building practitioners - Appeal from decisions

338: Orders as to costs

You could also call this:

“The appeal authority can decide who pays for the costs of an appeal.”

If you appeal a decision under this part of the law, the appeal authority can make you pay for some or all of the costs that other people involved in the appeal had to spend. The appeal authority can also make other people involved in the appeal pay for your costs. This means that whoever is in charge of the appeal can decide who has to pay for the expenses related to the appeal.
