281C: Authority may waive or refund fee or charge

“The people in charge can choose to let you pay less or nothing for their help”

You can ask an authority to waive or refund a fee or charge that they make you pay for a service under this Act. The authority can decide if they want to do this or not. They might waive or refund all of the fee, or just part of it. It’s up to them to choose what they want to do.
