301: Matters to be contained in register
or “The register lists important details about licensed building workers, like their name, contact info, and work history.”

You could also call this:

“You must tell the Registrar if anything changes about you or your work”

If you want to become a licensed building practitioner or if you already are one, you need to tell the Registrar about any changes in your information. You must do this in writing within 10 working days after the change happens.

A change in circumstances means any change in the information you gave to the Registrar when you applied for your licence. It can also include other changes that might be set out in the rules.

If you don’t tell the Registrar about these changes, you’re breaking the law. This is called an offence. If you’re found guilty, you might have to pay a fine of up to $5,000.

Remember, it’s important to keep your information up to date. This helps make sure the register of licensed building practitioners is correct and current.

or “Every year, the person in charge checks if builders want to keep their special work permission and if their information is correct.”
